There’s the ~~scaredy~~ brave cat, wielding my old Link hat and a slingshot I made last summer. She looks positively fearsome.

Yes! It’s a real Kokiri slingshot- perfect for slaying skultulas, activating switches, and breaking neighbors’ windows. I looked everywhere for a flat rubber band to make the sling, but couldn’t find anything except sport ones. Oh well, that at least makes it stronger.

Crochet season is BACK, baby! Forget that it’s a million degrees outside, I’m whipping out the yarn and movies.

On the left are my “newest” beanies: an actual recent one with a puff on top and one from a few months ago with a cool net design that looks like it wraps around (with Holly not cooperating at all).

Then a mini top hat… just because.

And finally there’s my current project using a lovely purple, blue, and green yarn. It’s such a simple stitch but I’ve redone it 4 times now. xD

ur human slim and thudly drawing was AMAZING. OMG.. makes me wonder wat the other pixls would look like as humans, but u r good~

There’s a lot of “I loved the finale, especially Tarrlok and Noatak’s story” or “the finale/season sucked, except Tarrlok and Noatak’s story,” or “I’m mostly meh about it, except Tarrlok and Noatak’s story, duh.”

For me personally, the finale catapulted them from “love to hate” to “omg my babies!” so I’m glad people liked them so much. There’s just this one thing. It’s this one complaint I see all over the place, both from the handful of people who hated the storyline to the many people who loved it. A lot of people think it would have been better and made more sense if the boys’ personalities had been switched.

FINALLY WATCHED THE FINALE

It was stunning. Really- the animation, the characters, the story. Beautiful stuff. I adore brotherly love, so Tarrlok and Amon’s scenes almost made me cry. I wanted to cry but I was oscillating so much between awe and despair that my tear ducts gave up. Favorite parts:

Tenzin and the air babies on stage. I nearly lost my mind when I saw them up there.
Mako shocking Amon. Lightning bending is so cool.
General Iroh kicking airplane ass. Him having a major part was pleasantly surprising.
Everything Tarrlok. YES. JUST YES. I KNEW he had something with Amon but I never thought I’d get to see their childhood. Dreams do come true.
The Lieutenant rebelling. He can’t even do that right, but it really added depth to his character. He’s so loyal to the cause.
Korra meeting Aang. Gave me the warm fuzzies.
Tarrlok on the boat with Amon and subsequent events. You know what I’m talking about. That cut my heart out. Their characters were so well done and interesting I couldn’t stand to watch what happened but at the same time I LOVED it.

I want to draw something but my mind is still reeling from the perfection I just witnessed.

Ugh I hate reading/watching sex scenes too! It’s so squicky and I really don’t want to know what people do alone- ever. I feel your pain… ._.

Sameee. I don’t understand how people do it. I don’t even know how people write it. Even like, an overly descriptive kiss makes me uncomfortable. Call me a baby, but just… no.

YEAH. Even though I know the mechanics I just… don’t understand how people go about writing smut. Dunno why that stuff doesn’t appeal to me, but I guess it explains why all my ships never move past light smooching in my mind.
